Mrs Robe’s Unmissable 6th Grade Camp Tips and Tricks Meeting (3/12 - 530pm)
Mrs. Robe has been attending 6th grade camp for many years and has a HUGE amount of useful, practical advice, building on what can be found in the Packing List. We will be offering this meeting (March 12th at 5:30PM) in a hybrid format (online on MS Teams and in-person in the School library) but are not planning to record it. Please forward this on to other 6th Grade Parents that would like to attend.
Directly following this tips and tricks meeting, at 6:10PM we will have our Monthly Foundation Meeting, which any of our parents and families are also welcome to stay for (please note different join link that will be shared in the Panther Pulse).
Please bring your questions (we will be answering questions online in the chat) and / or reach out anytime to Valerie on our camp coordinator team. The only bad question is the one that is not asked!

6TH GRADE CAMP PARENT/GUARDIAN INFORMATION NIGHT
Get ready for 6th Grade Camp! Parents and guardians are invited to a virtual informational meeting to learn everything you need to know about getting registered for this exciting Pershing Middle School tradition at Cuyamaca Outdoor School in Descanso. Please join us to meet your 6th Grade Camp Coordinators, and learn about cost, payment plans, registration timelines, and volunteer opportunities.
This is the first of several opportunities to get camp details. In December, Camp Cuyamaca staff will provide an in-depth presentation, and in the spring, Mrs. Robe will host a helpful “Camp Tips and Tricks” session.

For 6th Grade Camp 2026, we will share details, begin registration and start taking payments late September / early October timeframe. Details will follow in the Panther Pulse

Pay for Camp via PayPal (preferred option)
Please be sure to also register your 6th Grader first using the 'Register for Camp' button above. When asked for +Important please add student here in Paypal, please be sure to include your student's name. Please see below for additional payment options
Payment by Check
Make check payable to "Pershing Middle School Foundation" for $385. Include Student Name and ID # or English teacher in check memo. Please have student return to English teacher or Main Office by October 21, 2025. Send check in envelope and include the following information on the envelope:
1. Student Name
2. English Teacher Name
3. Student ID
4. Parent Phone # and/or email address
Please be sure to also register your 6th Grader first using the 'Register for Camp' button above.
Payment by Cash
Include $385. Please have PARENT bring to the Main Office by October 21, 2025. Bring cash in envelope with:
1. Student Name
2. English Teacher Name
3. Student ID
4. Parent Phone # and/or email address

Multiple Payments
You can also make MULTIPLE payments by cash, check or PayPal. When you register, please include planned payment dates, amounts, and mode of payment (as long as the total amount is $385, you can pay in 2 or 3 or more payments)! Note: In order to pay monthly between now and payment due date (Feb 1), you would need to pay 1 payments of $100 and 3 payments of $95 (Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan). Our standard payment plan is as follows:
- October 21, 2025 - Submit an initial deposit payment of $100
- November 15, 2025 - Submit a monthly installment of $95.
- December 15, 2025 - Submit a monthly installment of $95.
- January 15, 2025 - Submit a final monthly installment of $95.
