The Foundation is excited and honored to continue our partnership with Camp Cuyamaca in order to bring our 6th graders out of the classroom and into nature for a week-long field trip that will create lasting memories. While SD Unified is not able to fund camp, we are very fortunate to continue to offer this privilege to Pershing students. In order to do so, we must ensure every 6th grader has the opportunity to attend.
Thankfully, through our community’s generosity and the work of the Foundation we can, and will, make this a reality for our children. The cost per student for the five-day camp is $350. This fee includes lodging, meals, insurance and transportation.
If you can afford to pay the full amount, we ask that you do so. We understand some families may not be able to afford the entire cost of attendance for their student(s), so additional donations and raising funds to support these Scholarship Students is critical.
