The Foundation is excited and honored to continue our partnership with the School and Camp Cuyamaca to bring our 6th graders out of the classroom and into nature for a week-long field trip that will create lasting memories. While SD Unified School District is not able to fund camp, we are very fortunate to continue to offer this privilege to Pershing students. In order to do so, we must ensure every 6th grader has the opportunity to attend.
Thankfully, through our community’s generosity and the work of the Foundation we can, and will, make this a reality for our children.
The cost per student for the five-day camp is $360.
This fee includes lodging, meals, insurance and transportation.
If you can afford to pay the full amount, we ask that you do so. We understand some families may not be able to afford the entire cost of attendance for their student(s), so additional donations and raising funds to support these Scholarship Students is critical.
Please be sure to also register your 6th Grader first using the 'Register for Camp' button above. When asked for +Important please add student here in Paypal, please be sure to include your student's name. Please see below for additional payment options
Make check payable to "Pershing Middle School Foundation" for $360. Include Student Name and ID # or English teacher in check memo. Please have student return to English teacher or Main Office by October 25, 2024. Send check in envelope and include the following information on the envelope:
1. Student Name
2. English Teacher Name
3. Student ID
4. Parent Phone # and/or email address

You can also make MULTIPLE payments by cash, check or PayPal. When you register, please include planned payment dates, amounts, and mode of payment (as long as the total amount is $360, you can pay in 2 or 3 or more payments)! Note: In order to pay monthly between now and payment due date (Feb 1), you would need to pay 4 payments of $90 (Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan).
